Another day, another sink gone away.

A little blurry, but you’re not missing anything

This beauty might have served well in its day. Double basins! Big draining board! Even a soap holder, slightly tilted so the soap doesn’t get soft and messy!

But times change. Tastes change.

A nice big farm sink will take its place. Does this fireplace not deserve a farm sink in the same room?

The mantle stays. The knickknacks don’t.

And adieu to the faux chimey above the sink, which used to hide a hot-water heater, back in the day…..

It served its purpose, but as the architect says, “it has no historical value”
